Living room/dining room: with three seater leather sofa, wooden rocking chair, TV/DVD and electric feature fire. Wooden dining table and two chairs with a picture window giving views of the garden and hills beyond.
Kitchen: Well equipped with breakfast table, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, mini dishwasher and washer/dryer. Views to garden and beyond.
Bedroom: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be made twin beds on request). Please state preference at time of booking - if preference not stated will be super kingsize) and en-suite with bath, walk-in shower and toilet.

Patio garden with furniture and BBQ. The owner extends a welcome to explore some of the surrounding 2.5 acres of land. (Caution for young children as there is a pond however this is fenced off from the apartment’s garden.) The apartment is surrounded by farmland with livestock. Please note: the road to the property is down a 300 metre all gravel track. Off road parking for two cars. No smoking.
This cosy hideaway is just a perfect spot for exploring this secret corner of Scotland. Parts of the apartment date back to the mid 1700’s. The unique and special experiences on offer here in Galloway can be sampled almost from the doorstep. Frequent visitors to the apartment’s grounds are deer and red kites. The views are extensive; Screel and Bengairn and over to the Cumbrian Fells distinguished by the peaks of Skiddaw and Blencathra. The local town of Kirkcudbright is a delight. Established as a Royal Burgh in 1455, it is known as The Artist’s Town and has attracted painters for generations due to the scenic landscape and the exceptional quality of light.
