No smoking. \n \nIn a splendid position in the popular seaside town of Sheringham this detached single-storey holiday property is within walking distance of the excellent sandy beach and town. Aptly named the rear lawn garden backs onto the North Norfolk railway used by The Poppyline providing a perfect spot to view the restored steam and diesel trains. Daily trips are available from the station in Sheringham to visit neighbouring Weybourne and Holt. Sheringham offers an excellent golf course an indoor leisure pool tennis court good selection of shops cafes inns and regular market days. Most of the coastline has been designated an AONB with stunning scenery where wildlife conservation is very important and RSBP nature and bird reserves are located nearby. The Georgian market town of Holt is 7 miles Blakeney Quay is 9 miles and the bustling Burnham Market is 22 miles. Also visit The Royal Sandringham Estate and museum which is 35½ miles away. Nearby places of historical interest include NT Sheringham Park Felbrigg and Blickling Halls plus The Muckleburgh Military Collection and tank driving is 3½ miles away. Beach ¼ mile.     This was our second visit to The Sidings and we were certainly not disappointed. The accommodation is well appointed and comfortable. Close to the steam railway station (hence the name) and a 10 minute stroll to the sea front. Another lovely stay.

    Our third visit to this lovely property which is ideal for 2 couples. Very well equipped and personally overseen by the owner.

    Such a lovely place to stay, the place was spotless, lovely wood floors, really good quality furniture, the owners had done everything to make our stay really special. A nice bottle of wine and chocs to welcome us. The beds were super comfortable, 3 doubles and 1 twin with a bathroom and shower room. Heating was really good, so warm and cosy. Plenty of parking, enough for 3+ cars. Even though dogs are allowed in the property, there was no doggy smell. The owner came to meet us over the weekend. Only one suggestion, in the bathroom, there is a shower over the bath, perhaps a grab handle in the bath would be a good idea, as it's a bungalow, I would think a lot of elderly people would book this. This property is on a main road, but set back from it because it has new good quality windows, you cannot hear the traffic at all.

    The Sidings was clean, well equipped and welcoming. Whilst it was a little further from the front and the town than we were used to it was a nice, easy and short walk to both. The fact that Budgens was virtually next door (at the garage) was an added benefit.

    Excellent location for visiting the town of Sheringham, well equipped Bungalow with 3 spacious bedrooms and secure rear garden, nice to have the Poppy Line steam heritage at the bottom of the garden. Very comfortable

    Our second visit to the Sidings, nice welcome pack of chocolates and wine, really nice to sit in the garden and watch the steam trains chug past even better to travel on them.If you don’t want the hassle of driving and parking the main line station is 5mins walk away. It’s an hour to Norwich or 5 mins to Cromer by train. The Sidings offer the perfect retreat to unwind and relax in really nice surroundings. Would recommend 10/10. The Millie our cocker spaniel really enjoyed her first holiday especially as the beach by the lifeguard station to the west of the town is dog friendly all year.

    Very nice cottage in great location. Needed freezer in house not garage. Pans for induction hob very small and instructions missing. Floors needed a good clean.
