Join the fishing and leisure trips on offer at the harbour or board the North York Moors steam train to Goathland and Grosmont. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy Whitby’s challenging 18-hole cliff-top golf course. Visit fishing villages such as Robin Hood’s Bay Runswick Bay and Staithes.     We had a great stay at the slipway. It is in a great position, just a short stroll into Whitby. The owner is very helpful, and we would highly recommend.

    Nice spacious , comfortable apartment, 10 to 15 mins flat walk into Whitby. Very quiet. Lovely views of the boatyard and steam trains. Car parking is a bonus in Whitby, but don't try to park a large car in there. It's a bit tight.

    The apartment is spacious and well equipped, with a stunning location overlooking the river and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. It is very well located, with a short walk to the town but far enough away from the crowds when Whitby is busy. It felt like a brilliant base to come back to after a day out. The only comment I can make about the apartment is the need for redecoration of the bathroom, as it doesn't match the quality of the rest of the apartment. Despite this, all of the within the bathroom (e.g. toilet, sink, shower, towel rail etc) were in perfect working order and very clean.

    Wonderful accommodation, lovely owner. Posted keys to me so there wasn't any running around on arrival. So close to everything. Will stay here again...big plus was having parking at accommodation, a huge bonus in Whitby.
