Lovely cottage in a lovely village. Lots to do and places to see. Walking distance of two great pubs serving good food. Would go back and recommend to others. Hello
This is a small property on the ground floor of an annex to the owner's house - ie one of their rooms is above you. You are also surrounded by other houses. It is ideal therefore for those wanting to use it as a base but plan to be out all day. It was faultless in its presentation and had every item you would need. Hot water and equipment were great and the owners very friendly.
I hadn't realised that there is no parking with the property. We were lucky over the festive season to get a parking space on a couple of occasions in the village car park. The internet connection was also seemed to be sporadic as well as being somewhat slow. But this is coastal Kent.

The Snug. Was a perfect place to stay for the tw o of us and our dog. It was well equipped and clean. A quiet location but within short walk of shop and restaurant. Parking car in car park was not too much of an inconvenience. Area great for White Cliffs walk, Deal and Sandwich. A fellow dog walker directed us to local Rec for morning dog walk off lead.
We stayed at The Snug two years ago and we were so comfortable and liked it so much that we decided to return this year. It is really like a home from home and so well furnished, with everything you could possibly need, nothing has been forgotten. The owners are very kind and helpful but not intrusive in any way.
It is a lovely area too and there is lots to see and within short driving distance.
We can thoroughly recommend this cottage.
A lovely well equipped holiday cottage in a good location. Nice touch was the welcome gift of cake & fresh flowers.Would like to revisit again.
Very well equipped cottage. Ideal location. Very clean and welcome pack greatly appreciated. Everything you could need supplied to get you started.
Definitely a cottage to consider for a return visit.
lovely well equipped and spotlessly clean cottage with a very peaceful secluded garden. The cake, dog treats, milk, tea and coffee, were much appreciated and a very nice touch. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return and thoroughly recommend to anyone else.

A Lovely little flat with it's own patio area. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable in a very quiet spot. Nearby pubs a short walk away with excellent food at the Smugglers Inn.
Second time at the Snug. Lovely cottage and well placed for the village and the bay. Will definitely be returning.
The Snug is a very comfortable place to stay. The owners are friendly and helpful. The scones cream and jam awaiting our arrival were a welcome and unexpected surprise. The small enclosed garden area was lovely and our dog Buzz enjoyed laying on the Decking.
The countside around the area is lovely and there are some really good walks.
