A comfortable, well equipped cottage, ideally situated for the town and the mere and other attractions on the east coast which are within easy reach. The owners were welcoming and friendly and made us feel very much at home.

A very comfortable base, close to Hornsea, lovely Hornsea Mere and the sea. The Stables provided us with plenty of space and was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Having a dog, we found the lack of carpets a real advantage. The only slightly negative aspect was the limited area for sitting out, with no fencing to allow a dog off the lead. Not a problem for ours but something to be aware of. (There is plenty of space to walk a dog at either end of the farm, however.) We really appreciated the warm welcome from the owners who live next door.
