    Part of a terrace of fishermen’s cottages built in 1882, this well-furnished, spacious, semi-detached apartment overlooks the Firth of Forth and the picturesque harbour of Port Seton from the living area. Only half an hour from Edinburgh, there are quiet coastal walks to enjoy from the doorstep, sandy beaches nearby and pretty villages and towns to explore. Port Seton is a small, traditional coastal town with good local shops including an excellent fish shop. You’ll have easy access along the coast to Gullane, North Berwick and Dunbar and further afield into the Borders or over the Queensferry Crossing to Fife, Perth and Stirling. There are many golf courses throughout the area, as well as various galleries, craft and coffee shops, and many superb outdoor activities, historic houses and gardens to discover. Beach ¼ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

    We had a lovely, relaxing time at The Store and didn’t really want to leave! It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and has that home from home feeling. Port Seton is very peaceful but is only an easy three train stops from Edinburgh via Prestonpans. We enjoyed both the new pub and the old pub and they are both dog friendly. We also explored East Lothian and had a day trip to Falkirk, it is an excellent base. Shelley came to greet us on arrival and we enjoyed her home made shortbread. It’s a lovely part of the country.

    Our family enjoyed ourselves very much at the store, Shelley the owner was very nice & also left milk & shortbread for us upon our arrival which was fabulous after a long journey up l.

    We came to Port Seton to see some family not to far away. The apartment was everything we could ask for. We were even surprised with a carton of a milk and freshly made batch of shortbread. On one of the days we decided to go into Edinburgh and were very happy to discover the train station carpark in Prestonpans was free and it was only £5.10 each to Edinburgh station return. Overall I was very impressed with the apartment and the entire location surrounding it. We very much enjoyed ourselves and will be staying there again. Thank you very much.
