A lovely barn conversion, very well equipped with thoughtful extras. Lots of animals to watch and a lovely meadow to walk to. The only flaw was the traffic on the main road, which is very fast and noisy. However, you do not hear the noise inside the barn or in the meadow. Otherwise the situation just outside Bidford is convenient.

This was easily the best cottage we have stayed in. Immaculately clean ,well equipped and comfortable. The only 9 because of proximity to the road. However the road noise couldn’t be heard once inside the cottage. We would definitely recommend this venue. We would liked to have met someone either on arrival or shortly after but this did not effect our overall stay.

Lovely cottage, well fitted out except no shower fitting in upstairs bathroom as stated in advert. This cottage sits on a main road which is very noisy plus the owners live next door and are coming and going at all times day and night, alarms going off plus they have chickens and a cockerel that obviously crows very early in the morning so not a quiet restful place to be. It’s a shame as the location is good for visiting local attractions and was great for the dog as they have a field to walk her in.

Absolutely lovely cottage, everything you need (except clothes pegs!). Comfortable beds. Very high standard. Situated on a small farm - chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, 2 horses, large field for dog walking (grass needs cutting, though). Only real downside is that it was on a busy road, which is a great shame if you want a quiet getaway. Very central for places like Stratford-on-Avon, Broadway, Leamington Spa, etc., etc.

We loved the cottage and how dog friendly it is - the big field to throw the ball about for the dog was brilliant. We had s small problem while we were there which was quickly resolved. Communication was very good and friendly. Welcome treats lovely. Only draw back is that it is on the main road and not easy to walk in to the nearby villages. It is easily drivable though and lots of lovely places to visit nearby and great dog walks.

Really lovely stay, highly recommend, we wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Very friendly owners

Whilst the accommodation was excellent, and the welcome goodies extremely generous, we were a little surprised at the Barn's closeness to a busy road; the photos and description as given on the website gave no indication of this, and we feel we personally would not choose to stay here in the summer months because sitting out in the front garden so close to the road would not be ideal. However, in April this was not a problem for us, and we had a great time in this wonderfully clean, well-equipped and and comfortable Barn.

Great little cottage. Well equipped and the use of a large secure field to exercise our dog was a bonus. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed, it was in a good position to visit Stratford and the Cotswolds. We would highly recommend it.

Welcoming, cosy cottage and immaculately clean cottage. Very well equipped and with all home comforts and fantastic garden for the dogs as well as access to the owner’s field for dog exercise. Lovely welcome treats for humans and dogs. Christmas decorations were a thoughtful touch. Easy access to Bidford village for shops and takeaways and miles of riverside and field walks from the Big Meadow car park. Fabulous breakfast menu at the Blenheim garden centre next door. The only drawback is the proximity to the very busy road - not an issue in winter or if out and about all day in warmer weather.

A Lovely cottage although a little near the main road. The owners were extremely helpful when our original booked cottage let us down at the last minute. We would recommend the Swallows Barn to anyone looking for a nice place to stay with their pets.

Great property, one of the cleanest we have used. Friendly owners and loved the animals. Good location for lots of places. Watch out for the mobile speed cameras, cost us £100 and 3 points!! Description should say that the property backs onto a very busy and noisy road, did nto really bother us but is is there from early morning.

Comfortable barn but the road was so close and very noisy. Not what we were expecting at all.

A really comfortable home from home . Everything was of an extremely high standard. Perhaps a chair in the master bedroom would be a good addition, otherwise we can’t fault it.
