Occupying an ideal location in a quiet area midway between Whitland and Tavernspite, The Vestry offers warm and homely accommodation on the Pembrokeshire/Carmarthenshire border.
The Vestry is ideal for romantic couples who enjoy spending time together in the country. However, this isn’t your usual run of the mill cottage - with a cosy living space that’s complemented by a wood burner on the first floor and a spacious bedroom on the ground floor, The Vestry is a quirky, detached cottage that’s full of surprises. The compact kitchen and breakfast area are also upstairs, and the bedroom leads into an exceptional en-suite bathroom, with a slipper bath and a large shower. There is a grass area in the graveyard behind the property with a picnic table which guests are welcome to use.
Close to the well-kept town of Narberth, both properties are a 2 minute drive from a well-known local ice cream parlour and café/restaurant. The views from the lane look out towards the Preseli Hills, and there’s the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the National Trust site Colby Woodland Garden both within 5 miles. The beaches of Amroth, Pendine and Saundersfoot are between 6 and 10 miles away, and for fun-loving families there is Oakwood Theme Park, watersports and Folly Farm nearby. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
The Vestry can be booked together with The Chapel (UK6037) to accommodate up to 6 guests.
