The quiet rural location (no sea views, but lots of open countryside) also makes it popular with those who like easy access to the local beaches and coves. The cottages are in the hamlet of Poljigga, about two miles from Land’s End. Near to Land’s End are Sennen Cove and Whitesands Bay, with its safe surfing and family beach. The famous cliffside Minack Theatre is just over a mile and half away, overlooking beautiful Porthcurno beach, both worth a visit at any time of year. You are spoilt for beautiful beaches, Porthchapel is 1.3 miles away Porthgwarra is 1.4 and Sennen Cover is 2 miles.
West Cornwall is particularly attractive during the Spring and early Summer, when the daffodils and wildflowers are at their best. Bird watchers and walkers return to the area year after year to enjoy the early and late season and, of course, the coastal path which is a short walk from The Vineries. The nearest train station is at Penzance 7.5 miles away which is also the nearest town. Here you will find an assortment of shops, cafés restaurants as well as the working harbour.
This property can be booked together with Mallard Cottage (UK38932) Glady’s Orchard (UK38933), Rowan Cottage (UK38934) and Blackbird Cottage (UK38935) to accommodate up to 30 guests.
