First impressions were very good, very welcoming feel and comfortably furnished with everything we would need. There is free Wi-Fi which was useful and 2 TVs, one of which is upstairs, which was useful for our party. Lots of towels and well equipped bathroom upstairs and another downstairs. We were given a box of chocolates which was a very nice thought, thank you. Only problem we encountered was in Hornsea itself, very difficult to find anywhere to get an evening meal and the fish and chip shops shut at 8 o`clock at the latest.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable week in Hornsea, lodged in the Waiting Room near the sea front. Hornsea is a very pleasant place with a High Street, promenade and beach all within walking distance of the flat. The local people, in true Yorkshire tradition, are very friendly and welcoming. On a number of occasions while enjoying a drink in the garden of the Marine Hotel (on the sea front) we ended up chatting to some of our fellow imbibers. The Waiting Room itself is comfortable and clean but was a little disappointing in a few regards: the shower was erratic, the balustrade on the landing was rickety, the 'patio garden' at the front of the property was small. Otherwise we were quite happy with the accommodation.

Fabulous cottage, with every amenity. Location excellent as near to the sea with plenty of dog walks around. Very highly recommended.

This is an amazing place to stay. It has EVERYTHING you need and more. Area is fantastic, so close to the beach, I would not hesitate to book this place again. Our only complaint is we don’t own it. Thank you for a fabulous week. Dee, Danny, Bertram and Alfie ❤️

Ideal location. Overall good accommodation and furniture etc. - though it didn't work very well for one of our party who has limited mobility. (A late booking, so we ought to have chosen a property with a downstairs bedroom.) However, we enjoyed a nice family break. A few issues though: * The dryer function of the washer/dryer wasn't working. As the dial had been capped off we felt we should have been informed of this prior: given the time of year we had difficulty getting washing dry. Also, the fabric conditioner compartment was really dirty, and couldn't be cleaned as it is trapped by the cooker and can't be removed for cleaning. * There was a major lack of power points - with a number of extension leads having been woven under carpets (fire hazard?) No PAT testing of appliances either - not sure if they should be? * The macerator plumbing in the upstairs bathroom was very noisy, and disturbed our sleep when we had to use it at night.
