A delightful and photogenic property which was surprisingly spacious inside. Very pleased with the welcome pack and the flowers. Comfy beds and plenty of bedroom storage in quality furniture. Kitchen had a plentiful supply of crockery and utensils. Great to have a decent sized freezer. The owners were very helpful and the property was spotless. Great surroundings. We were delighted to discover that there is a Lilliput Lane model of the Water Tower and associated Oast House. Photo provided.

We chose the Water Tower so we could enjoy a bit of history in our accommodation and have easy travel to other sights we wanted to visit in Kent and surrounding area. We enjoyed the privacy of the Water Tower and the owners were right there to chat with if needed, and they provided a nice welcome package on our arrival. We had expected to have a washer and dryer available for our use as we had been traveling for two weeks prior to our stay, however there was only a washer available - no dryer, which disappointed quite a bit. Definitely recommend this fabulous location though. Very easy drive to Maidstone for shopping needs, and kitchen facilities were great for cooking, etc.

We found the cottage very dated and tired and very dark we needed the lights on all the time. Needs updating and new bedding and towels. We could not sit outside because the tree made it too shaded. Not up the standard we normally expect for a 4 ✅ property.

Lovely cottage well placed for were we needed to be easy to walk to village, really welcomed with lots of treats. Good kitchen and nice ensuites. We found downstairs to be dark and bedrooms were to light in the mornings (blinds on the velux would sort this)

We stayed in the Water Tower because it was close to Leeds Castle where my sister was getting married. The proprietor was very friendly, and even left flowers and wine for us. The location was ideal, and is certainly somewhere we would come back to while visiting family in the future.

Thank you - our second visit, both in winter. Heating and comfort factor high, but 2 points: interior lighting is too poor to allow reading with any comfort (despite the interesting selection of books on offer!), and the wall light directly over the tv is distracting. A small trat, to take up EMT, would be handy, and a pack of playing cards! But many thanks - we hope to be back!

The Water tower has everything we require and this was our third stay. The Water Tower is warm and comfortable and within easy reach of all the main roads which enables easy access to travelling around Kent. Our only minor criticism is, some of the bedding and bed linen appear old and fatigued and could do with replacing, but this did not detract from our stay and we hope to return again this year.

This was one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. It was comfortable, warm and well equipped. While it is very close to the A20, we did not find the traffic noise disturbing. The location was handy for local amenities and there are good walks from the door. The welcome pack was much appreciated.
