A semi-detached property with lots of original features that is light and airy and provides all the modern conveniences needed for the perfect stay including a private courtyard garden. Originally owned by the Duchy of Lancaster the property has enjoyed a varied history housing various members of the gentry throughout its life. In April 2019 in The Times the street the property is on was voted as the best street to live on the east and the second best place to live on the North Norfolk Coast. Beautifully renovated and appointed by its new owners The White House is the perfect choice for discerning guests looking for something special with bags of character for a special occasion or just a great holiday. Wine tasting a chef and beautician can also be arranged by prior arrangement with the owners.\nThose wishing to park up and dine out will find a host of places to eat and drink within strolling distance in the pretty market town of Aylsham along with a good mix of high street and independent shops or alternatively you can enjoy a night in with a professional chef doing all your cooking and a beautician pampering you at cost by direct arrangement with owner. The gateway to the North Norfolk coastline is just 20 minutes away. Here you will find a string of pretty coastal towns and villages including Cromer with its numerous attractions including its famous Edwardian seafront wide sandy beach and pier museum and zoo. Sheringham is close by too and is perfect for those who just wish to potter and for beach lovers alike. Head west of here and enjoy a spot of crabbing at Blakeney visit the picturesque quay at Wells-next-the-Sea or head east for all the fun of the fair in Great Yarmouth.\nThe Norfolk Broads is close by too and you can take the Bure Valley Railway from Aylsham to Wroxham where you can charter a day launch or join an organised tour and drift along these much celebrated waterways. Make time for a trip to the medieval city of Norwich with its splendid Norman castle and many museums theatres galleries and attractions too. History buffs will be spoilt for choice and are sure to head to nearby Blickling Hall where you can explore the house and gardens. All in all you will find so much to see and do virtually on your doorstep and after a day’s sightseeing you can head back for a meal in The White House’s formal dining room relax in the courtyard in the hot tub or sit by the wood burner with a glass of wine. Whichever you choose you’re sure of a good night’s sleep. Beach 10 miles. Shop pub and restaurant 500 yards. \n " https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/107/840/10714056.jpg UKC3411

Great venue. Cosy and relaxing yet very spacious. Everything you need at the house. Tbh I think the owner undersells the property from some of the pics as it’s hard to work out floor plan and initially thought kitchen may be too small ( far from it). Garden was again lovely but again prior to coming was hard to work out layout. Beds warm and comfy. Showers excellent. Main bathroom stunning. Towels lovely quality. Owner gives you probs y but very quick to communicate with either by email or phone. Village has all you need. ( local shop, bar for watching footy, another bistro bar for food, trash ops, sweatshops, chemist, Indian restaurant and kebab shop and fish n chip place). Nice beaches close by. Visit to horsey gap to see seals a must Family of 10 with 6 kids ranging from 7 to 21 plus partners and dog had an amazing break.
