Lovely place just needed a fresh coat of paint as it had signs of wear and tear also the front entrance had an awful smell of cigarettes which is a great shame.

This is an OK apartment which is well laid out with excellent bedrooms and storage space. I feel the owners have really thought about making it homely and practical with some loverly pictures and good linen and mattresses for example. But it did lack a bit of finesse you get with a distant owner having to rely on local contractors: No instructions for the appliances, sofa propped up by a piece of wood, bathroom a bit tired along with the kitchen and general decor. Noisy electrical heaters. Only one car park pass and no welcome pack of goodies on arrival. The carpets had just been cleaned which was a bonus for us. BUT as other reviewers have noted - The local rugby team, "Scarlets" use the flat above which equals 24 hour of thunder from above!! I think they were weight training - dropping dumbbells on the floor and practicing rugby tackles etc. This coupled with these rough looking huge teenagers constantly turning up in their hot hatch cars day and night slamming the entrance door them bounding up the rickety, (yes rickety wooden communal stairs in modern flats) and them engaging in some kind of rough drunken rugby practice (maybe it's a rough male brothel??) slamming the heavy fire doors making the flat literally shake!! Then they would climb up to the balcony from the outside using our balcony to get there and through food and other items out onto the garden...It was torture for us and drove our dog mad with fear!! Just when you thought they'd gone for a few minutes - they returned with more beer and more idiots to indulge in more "ruby practice"! Until you can confirm the young "Scarlets" have moved out - I'd steer clear of this one - I live on a rough estate in Birmingham - I don't expect to be in one on holiday!! I did think about claiming a refund , but the effort that takes these days put me off and I've just had to put this one behind us...also I feel a little sorry for the owner..BUT then again they should fix this by whatever means for their guests/customers...

Great place, great location and it was brilliant to be allowed the 2 dogs to stay with us too. Thank you. The weather was also amazing! Hope we left the place clean enough that you’d have us again ?
