A great cottage with lots of room for six adults, a three year old, a baby, and a dog. Toys and books were available. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment for cooking family meals. The garden was lovely with two big ponds, and paths to explore with our dog, and granddaughter. A friendly horse and donkeys were another attraction when walking the dog. We all enjoyed our holiday very much.

An incredible place to stay. The tranquility and rest were just what was needed. You can spend an age just walking around the grounds and talking to the donkeys.

Lovely accommodation in beautiful surroundings. The cottage was beautiful in spite of the need for a little TLC in a couple of areas. The hot tub was superb and set in a secluded area of the garden. The owners of the cottage were very welcoming.

Wonderful holiday in a beautiful location well situated for visiting all the wonderful beaches in the Gower. The cottage is very spacious and the grounds are perfect for children with the playground and Harry the horse and the 3 donkeys in the field. We would definitely recommend.

I have to say this place is amazing. The photos look fantastic but it’s even better in person. The owners are so lovely and made us so welcome. The location is brilliant, able to walk to three cliffs bay and a short drive to all the rest of the fabulous beaches. The willows itself was a quiet bit of paradise, everything you could want and more. In reality there was little need to go elsewhere. We went with our dogs and they too were in heaven.

The Willows is set in the most glorious grounds with paddocks, woods, ponds, play park, hot tub, undercover BBQ area and the lovely decking areas and outdoor furniture. When the weather is warm and dry, you wouldn’t even need to leave. Steve, the owner, is friendly and chatty and tells the best tales. We had a lovely time. A couple of things were a bit unexpected and disappointing and we felt had not been made clear when booking. Firstly, although it does state owners live next door, we had not appreciated that the driveway right adjacent to The Willows is the driveway also used by the owners and their relations. This means vehicles driving passed on noisy gravel as people are leaving for work. This was regularly between 7am and 8am and whilst we understand people have to go to work, we had not appreciated it would be right next to our bedrooms every morning. We were rather hoping for a few lies in on holiday but kids and dogs were disturbed by the tyres on gravel. Perhaps the hot tub helped soothe us!! On a similar note, some of the beds and bed frames are well passed their best. Positively rickety single beds which were ok if the kids lay still all night!! And finally, nowhere on the details did we read about the very active little airfield nearby. On our first Saturday we lost track of the number of planes (albeit little ones) coming in and out to land. If you’re a fan of plane spotting, this would be perfect. If, like us, you were wanting peace and quiet in the countryside - not so much. However, overall, a delightful spot well worth a visit.

This is a great cottage with friendly owners and a friendly horse and donkey`s. Spacious and well equipped with patios, hot tub, lakes and even a stone circle in the grounds. We couldn`t believe we had so much room. The beautiful Gower beaches are within easy reach as are nice places to eat.
