Gorgeous lodge in a beautiful location. Very modern with superb facilities. Obviously the lodge is on the edge of the national park so it’s in the middle of nowhere but we knew his on booking and didn’t have a problem with it, make sure you are fully stocked up. There is a local shop in the village if you do forget. The only suggestion for improvement would be a more thorough clean as it wasn’t the cleanest accommodation however there are cleaning equipment in the lodge.

Woodside Lodge is furnished and maintained to very high standard. The lodge was very clean, and everything required was supplied, rooms were good, showers were amazing, and the Hot tub, which is cleaned daily, was awesome, very relaxing quietly chilling in a warm dark night. Location would be only slight gripe, is a small drive away from nearest town and attractions, but that also means away from business of modern life. Would recommend.

The lodge was great. Really enjoyed the hot tub. There was a lack of a children’s play area, which was disappointing. And the lodges were a little crammed together. But that did not spoil our experience. The owners were very helpful

The lodge was lovely but the the derelict hotel did not do a lot for the site and the lodges were to close to each other however we had a good holiday in Northumberland

The cottage was lovely and we were very pleased. Our only disappointment was that the beds were just standard doubles and the mattresses were uncomfortable. Good mattress toopees could be helpful. Larger bath towels would be good too. There were just 3 wine glasses and a mixing bowl of some kind would be helpful. However, it didn’t In any way spoil our enjoyment. Thank you

Stayed here with our 10 month old! High chair ready when we got there ! And a travel cot ! Unfortunately we had squeezed ours into the car as it didnt say one was available when booking. Site should be updated. The lodge was lovely clean and well equipped! Chocolates and small bottle of wine waiting ! We had a lovely time had already recommended to our friends and will definitely stay again! Thank you
