Excellent location in Alnmouth with the most amazing views. We only stayed on one floor but found that very comfortable. A nice touch of wine, chocolates and coffee. Also dog biscuits for your four legged friend. We couldn't fault this lovely apartment.

Although the cottage is in an excellent location with wonderful views of the beach and estuary there are a couple of issues that would prevent me from revisiting. The heating and hot water system is very poor. Many times when people were trying to run either a bath or shower the hot water was either intermittent or none existent. Secondly, apart from one window in the small bedroom all the sash windows are painted shut which means there is no ventilation and in the summer I could imagine the cottage being a greenhouse.
