We stayed at Tigh A Vullin as a family with 3 small children around Easter and found it a wonderful place - with the games room and the hot tub as special attractions! Kirsty was a great and very helpful host!

We were 2 couples, each with a dog so enjoyed easy access to longish walks with dogs (hose available for cleaning dogs before going back in house). Visited in March but weather ok and didn't keep us out of the hot tub. Marina and shore (not beach) is a short walk away. 2 min walk from cottage to Galley of Lorne Inn where there is an excellent chef. One of our number is a keen cook so we took our slow cooker and enjoyed home cooked meals some evenings. Friendly locals in Ardfern and a well stocked shop. Took ferry from Oban to Mull one day. Lots to do nearby, most of it closed in March but we knew this before booking and was reflected in price of cottage. £45 for electric for the week. We used wood-burning stove some evenings. If visiting again would do so April - Sept when more going on. However, rarely visit same place twice as so many other places to explore.

The cottage is located in the beautiful village of Ardfern. The facilities are well maintained and the games room was fantastic for all the family. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again next year.

We had a great time visiting this gorgeous cottage in a lovely little village. The cottage had everything we needed and more - had many great evenings in the hot tub after a day of walking. Will definatly be going back.

Lovely, homely cottage. Everything you would need and the hot tub was a real treat. The Galley of Lorne is about a 2 minute walk, friendly staff and decent food. Had a really nice stay.

For a break away from the stress of life this is the place for you. Kirsty and family are the perfect hosts, give you your own space but their if you need them, nothing is to much trouble. The location is perfect, all the locals are so friendly including the pub and village store. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks Kirsty, family and all at Ardfern.

We have just returned from our second holiday in Tigh a Vullin and we are already planning our holiday next year in this lovely house. We have been going to Ardfern on and off for the last 16yrs but only got to know about Tigh a Vullin quite by chance last year. Each time we arrive we have felt at home almost straight away and love the comfort of the log burner! The house is always beautifully presented and every thing is there that one could want. The garden is very pretty and the jucusi is fantastic! The lady who owns the property is very thoughtful caring and kind and always ask for us to let her know if there is anything we need. For us Tigh a Vullin and all that goes with it is just the perfect place to have a wonderful holiday and we hope to keep returning for many years to come!

A very nice stay lovely people who do anything within their power to make sure you have agood holiday. There is a very nice pub just across the way. very good food Bar prices abit steep. Hot tub was very good spent at least an hour in there most days. If anything to be improved on is the freezer its in the games room. so you do tend to get wet going to it in bad weather

Lovely place for a nice relaxing holiday. Hot tub and games room were a massive hit with our two teenagers! ( We thoroughly enjoyed the tub to!). Only downside I would have is the single track road ..... we had a mishap when a passing motorist caught the side of our car with a trailer! Would recommend Tigh a Vuillin to everyone.
