Lovely place for a nice relaxing holiday. Hot tub and games room were a massive hit with our two teenagers! ( We thoroughly enjoyed the tub to!). Only downside I would have is the single track road ..... we had a mishap when a passing motorist caught the side of our car with a trailer! Would recommend Tigh a Vuillin to everyone.

A great cottage in a quiet village close to the pub and shop. The addition of the games room and hot tub means that you don't need to go anywhere if you don't want to. The cottage itself was clean and spacious, with loads of books, dvds and board games. And the owner is very friendly and makes sure you have everything. When we were there it was a heat wave and she even found us a fan to make us a little more comfortable. I would highly recommend a visit and there is plenty to do within a short drive. Craignish cruises was a great day out!

Had a lovely time. Everything we needed was there. Only slight grumble was that it wasn't clear at time of booking that the cost of gas and electricity was not included...

The perfect place to relax and unwind. We had a loveley few days of respite at Tigh a Vullin and were warmly welcomed by Kirsty. The kitchen is very well equipped, immaculate bathroom with a brilliant powerful shower and the beds were so comfortable! You really couldn’t ask for better accommodation, for the price it’s just perfect

Had a lovely 3 relaxing nights in Adfern. Enjoyed chilling in the hot tub after our walks to the Lord of the Isle for lunch on day one and then out to the point to enjoy fantastic views on day 2. Would definitely return to Tigh A Vullin :-)

Just returned from a four day break at this lovely little cottage. The location is excellent and really convenient for touring the West coast. There numerous forestry walks in the area and the hot tub at the cottage is wonderful when you return from one of them or just to relax. Kirsty is very attentive but not obtrusive and will happily assist with any inquiries you have. The cottage is comfortable, clean, and well equipped and the log fire makes it really cosy on a cold night. The local hotel serves good food and is also dog friendly. The village shop is well stocked, and there are numerous supermarkets in Oban if your touring. This was our second stay at Tigh a Vullin, and will definitely return. The Prossecco and chocolates on arrival were really appreciated.

What a great holiday we had! Kirsty gave us a lovely welcome and the treats were very much appreciated! The house is situated in a fantastic area, close to all you could ever want. The locals were very friendly and helpful. We have never gone back to the same cottage before as we always wanted to try new places but this is one we definitely want to return to. Will live in the memory bank for a long time. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your house Kirsty.

We've just got back from our honeymoon at tigh a vullin and can't recommend it enough. It's a perfect hideaway in an idyllic location. The cottage is modern and well laid out. It has everything you need. Kitchen has every utensil/pan/tray you would ever need. Also has dishwasher and washing machine if you're there a while. Living room has an amazing log burner which warms the whole house and very easy to use. Also has a good tv and good range of DVDs and board games if you get stuck in on a rainy day. Bathroom is modern and a really good power shower. Bedrooms are big enough and bed was comfy. Lots of storage everywhere too. Games room is so much fun, we spent an afternoon in there when it was raining and got very competitive :-) The best feature of the cottage has to be the hot tub. We were in there nearly every day. Perfect way to relax after walking all day. Ardfern itself is such a pretty village, really stunning views. The shop is only a few minutes walk (as is the pub and cafe) and stocks most thing you'd need. Carnasserie castle is only a 10 minute drive away too and would highly recommend a visit. Great to explore and amazing views from the top. Thanks so much to Kirsty for being the perfect hostess. Not intrusive but there if you needed. We go to Scotland every year and this is now our favourite place on the west side and hope to be back again :-) Thanks again for a perfect honeymoon, Katy & John xx

Cottage was beautiful, good location and very well equipped - the hot tub is a really nice feature - perhaps could have done with more towels as I like to separate out towels used for hot tub from day-to-day showering (washing machine worked but dryer didn't). The only things that stopped me giving it a 10 overall were would have been nice to have an alternative venue to eat in the evenings in the village - the pub is nice but a little bit samey and after a long day out driving I didn't want to drive anywhere else in the evening & couldn't be bothered to cook (although kitchen is well equipped too). That said the pub provides a nice atmosphere just could have done with up-dating its 'specials' board a bit more but loved the social side and meeting other 'tourists' to find out what they were up to. Overall a really good dog-friendly location.

Very good accommodation. The local shop has most items however it is expensive, there is an Aldi, Lidl and Tesco in Oban which is only 40 mins away. Suggest shop for emergency purchase. Hot tub is great, easily sits 4 adults, we used it every day after our day trips! Good food at local pub or at lord of isles at craobh haven which is an hour walk from cottage. If you love peace and quiet, long walks and beautiful views then book this cottage.
