    Tilly-Ho is a detached house situated in a development of similar style properties on the fringe of the traditional village of Seahouses. The accommodation is exceptionally well presented throughout and enjoys a bright and airy ambience. The living room is on the ground floor and leads to a conservatory where guests can dine whilst overlooking the rear garden. There is a lovely breakfasting kitchen and an additional snug for children to retreat to and enjoy the Xbox provided. All four bedrooms are on the first floor, the master enjoying the convenience of en-suite shower facilities. Both double bedrooms boast views across a field towards the sea. The attached double garage is used as a useful utility area and there is also a childs pool table and table tennis available for wet-weather entertainment.
    Seahouses offers a wide array of facilities including tearooms, restaurants, pubs and shops all within easy walking distance of Tilly-Ho. Boat trips to the Farne Islands run from the nearby harbour – the islands are famous for their nesting seabirds and grey seal colonies. Horse riding is available only 200 yards away and there’s an impressive golf course on the links close by.
    The picture postcard village of Bamburgh, protected by its dramatic fortress, is only 2 miles north and has a wide expanse of golden, and often empty, sandy beaches and where the tidal island of Lindisfarne, locally known as Holy Island and the birth place of Christianity, can be viewed. A further two miles up the coastline brings you to Waren Mill, which is steeped in history. Once an important port, its harbour has long since disappeared, silted up beneath the sands of the estuary. Budle Bay is a bird sanctuary and at low tide a vast expanse of mud flats is home to countless thousands of sea and land birds making this location a haven for bird watchers. The market town of Alnwick, with its own castle offers many facilities a few miles inland. Alnwick Garden is a popular visitor attraction with its grand cascade waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe! Tilly-Ho offers excellent self-catering accommodation for families and friends who wish to explore the Heritage coastline designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Beach 300 yards.     Tilly - Ho is a lovely clean house on very quite estate.There was a lovely welcome pack and fresh flowers around the house .A lovely enclosed garden with garden furniture.Its in a great location lovely walk along the cliff top into Seahouses or walk the other way towards the golf course and watch the sea birds on the cliffs. Had a lovely time playing pool on the table in the garage. Not that we wanted to use it but the details said there was a DVD player but it was not there only the remote. We were a little disappointed that we had to get towels washed and dried without a tumble dryer as there was only one hand towel and one bath towel each and we had booked for 2 weeks . Also only one tea towel and no hand towel for the kitchen when you pay the same price for the second week.

    Lovely property, lovely location. Would certainly recommend. One or two minor things to be fixed which we have made owner aware of, but did not affect our stay. Fifth time in Seahouses and will be back again next year.

    A very comfortable holiday home with plenty of space for 6 of us with a very pleasant enclosed garden (safe for the dog) & very close to beaches & the village centre from which we could visit the Farne Islands.

    We’ve had a wonderful week at Tilly Ho. The house was spacious enough for our two families and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotless. The location can’t be beaten! Just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Seahouses but on a very quiet estate with little traffic. Easy to drive out to so many lovely places too. We’d love to return!
