Wi-Fi on-site. Laundry with washing machine shared with other properties on-site. Decked sitting-out area with garden furniture. Grounds with large playing field children’s playground and picnic area shared with other properties on-site. Heated outdoor swimming pool open mid-May to September shared with other properties on-site. Residents’ car park not allocated 5 yards away. No smoking.\n\n Nestled within the peaceful wooded parkland setting of Penlan Holiday Park near the village of Cenarth this comfortable detached wooden lodge is great for families to have an enjoyable fun filled holiday. The lodge has three bedrooms and an open plan living area leading out onto a decked terrace. The park is surrounded by oak and beech trees and is a haven for wildlife as well as offering a range of facilities. There is shared use of the children’s playground and a large playing field and picnic area. Wi-Fi can be accessed on the site and there is a shared heated open-air swimming pool open mid-May to mid-September and a family bar and restaurant some facilities have limited opening hours and cannot be guaranteed. A small shop also seasonal opening hours supplies the basics but you are only a mile from the charming village of Cenarth where you will find pubs café and a shop there too.\n\nJust a few minutes’ drive further on will bring you to the market town of Newcastle Emlyn which has an array of independent shops pubs coffee shops and a supermarket. The village of Cenarth itself is famous for its waterfalls where the River Teifi tumbles dramatically over the rocks and you may catch the amazing sight of the salmon leaping up the falls if you are here in the autumn The riverside walks are lovely and a visit to the museum in the 17th-century flour mill dedicated to the history of coracle making is a must.\n\nTry some Caws Cenarth organic cheese you can watch it being made on the farm on the outskirts of the village. If you enjoy walks and being in the great outdoors there are 325 acres of fantastic woodlands nearby at Ffynone and Cilgwyn and the lodge is well placed for accessing Carmarthenshire Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. Less than 10 miles away is the west Wales coastline and scenic Cardigan Bay where there are many lovely sandy beaches and opportunities to see the bottlenose dolphins that are frequent visitors in the bay. The thriving market town of Cardigan is 10 minutes away on the banks of the estuary and the ancient castle is well worth a visit. There are plenty of eateries in the town including a restaurant on a boat and a ’tipi’ serving wood-fired pizzas and live music in the summer. The family attractions of Pembrokeshire including Oakwood Theme Park Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo are easily accessible for a day out as is St David’s the smallest city in Britain. Beach 9½ miles. Shop pub and restaurant 1 mile. " https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/106/840/10650621.jpg UK10439
