With direct access to some of the 186 miles of Pembrokeshire coastal footpath right from your doorstep, this really is the perfect base for family and friends to come together and enjoy a break away. Tower Hill Cottage is set within the quaint hamlet of Brynhenllan, on the edge of Dinas Cross and close to the coastal village of Newport. Within walking distance to some wonderful beaches with Pwllgwaelod, Cwm Yr Eglwys and Aberfforest all within a 10 minute walk, you can also enjoy a spot of lunch and some freshly caught seafood from the local, traditional pub and restaurant on the beach at Pwllgwaelod after a busy day of building sandcastles, crabbing or kayaking.
Tower Hill is a one of four traditional stone built cottages on a no-through lane which has been lovingly renovated in 2019 to a very good standard throughout, boasting a spacious, well-equipped kitchen/dining area with access to a private rear courtyard and gate leading out onto the Pembrokeshire coast footpath. The beautifully presented living room is ideal for cosy nights in with a focal open fire where you relax after a busy day sightseeing. The master bedroom really is special with your own private balcony where you can sit out and watch the sunset, or try some star gazing.
A short drive away is the popular coastal village of Newport complete with a wide range of eateries specialising in organic, locally sourced and home grown produce. There are also some traditional Welsh pubs with local ales makes it the perfect spot to explore after a busy day sightseeing in Pembrokeshire. Newport Sands golf course is perfect for any keen golfer in the family, with direct sea views from the green.
A great day out for all is the walled town of Tenby complete with beach, Oakwood (Wales’ largest theme park), Heatherton World of Adventure and Folly Farm Zoo, all within a 50 minute drive and a fantastic family day out. Beach 300 yards. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
