Lovely cosy cottage in a good location. The owner was very welcoming and we would definitely stay again

A beautiful quaint cottage set in the heart of a welcoming village. We had a fabulous time walking on the beach, having drinks in the local pub, and cosing up in front of the fire. The cottage has been furnished and decorated to an impeccably high standard, everything meticulously thought through and we could not have wanted for anything else. The owner, Annie, went the extra mile to make our weekend special.

The cottage was very clean, pretty and well presented. I had failed to anticipate the difference between modern homes and 400 year old cottages.... particularly the ceiling height (we left with four big lumps on our heads from the beams) and found it was often much colder inside than out (although there was a fire, radiators, hot water bottles, and lots of blankets). I also failed to account for the differences between where we live (takeaways, late night shops, organised entertainment etc.) and a small (but pretty) village with one shop that shuts at 6pm. The nearest supermarket we could find was at least a 20 minute drive. Some things not in the photos: the upstairs had painted floorboards (not carpet); the appliances in the kitchen were high quality, the shower was less so; the sitting out area was in a court yard surrounded by other houses; the beach used in the advertising photo (fairbourne beach) was a ten minute drive away, and not the beach within easy walking distance which was almost entirely rocks; the mattresses felt very firm. Finally, a general comment that the price of all holiday lets during school holidays is an absolute disgrace and this is why I didn’t feel it represented good value for money.

Excellent location for the beach, train station and dog walking. Cottage was very clean with a lot of attention to detail and a pretty garden in the space available. The cottage is very well equipped, with quality fittings.

Had an amazing weekend at tremfor, good location as a small walk to shop, pub and beach. Also short drive to many little villages. The cottage was beautiful and had everything you could need. Owner was lovely and friendly which made it even better. Would recommend to anyone

We had a fantastic time staying in this Cottage it was beautiful and Annie (owner) had thought of every little thing -the attention to detail was amazing. I stay in a cottage every year and this is in a league of its own. The location is superb out of the hustle and bustle in such a peaceful environment with the beach just minutes away with easy access to everything and everywhere and a great train service around the coast to hop on and off at your will. The cottage was clean cosy and warm - i particularly enjoyed sitting in the little garden in the morning with my coffee just like stoning to the sea and the wildlife before the rest of the house awoke. A beautiful part of the world - this was a trip with my parents, partner and 3 year old daughter and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves Memories were made here and beautiful scenery that will stay close to my heart You simply can’t be disappointed with this cottage my only regret was not staying longer
