Treplevna is a tranquil, cosy and restful, traditional Cornish cottage complete with an inglenook fireplace, wood burner, sea views, a private, south-facing garden and conservatory, coast path access and parking. The first generous basket of logs, welcome goodies, toiletries and bedding and towels are all included. The cottage is perfect for walkers, dog lovers and families with young children. Blackout blinds and children’s utensils are available, and a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request. The kitchen has a microwave, integrated washer/dryer and dishwasher with eco-friendly products included. Sky TV (with children’s channels) and superfast Wi-Fi are also provided. There is even an outdoor tap in the enclosed back patio for washing dirty doggies or muddy wellies.
Two sandy beaches can be found within a 30-minute walk and the highlights of West Cornwall are all within a short drive, including St Ives, Sennen, Mousehole, Newlyn, Penzance, St Michael’s Mount and the Minack Theatre. The village has the Levant and Geevor tin mines, Pendeen lighthouse, a fish and chip shop, pubs and a store selling fresh bread, eggs, fruit and veg, and logs within walking distance.
St Just with its independent shops, galleries and cafés is 10 minutes away. There is a bus stop at the end of the lane with a regular service linking St Ives, Penzance and St Just. The 7 mile coastal road between the cottage and St Ives is one of the most scenic in the UK, excellent for cycling or driving and passes the traditional village of Zennor with its famous ice cream parlour and world class climbing at Bosigran.
