Nearby you have Close House golf course and restaurant home to the world’s only two Lee Westwood Golf Courses and the restaurant serves delectable food and wines. Nearby Corbridge is a historic small town, in Roman times it was used to collect provisions, wander though the pretty streets soaking in the history, stopping off for lunch at one of the many pubs or cafés. Keen walkers will enjoy walking some of Hadrian’s Wall and all the family will enjoy stopping off at one of the Roman Museums. With easy access to travel in all directions the coastal towns of Tynemouth and Whitley Bay can be reached in around 18 miles or head north up the Northumberland Heritage Coast for miles of sandy beaches making for a joyful day out for all ages. Come back after a day’s exploring, cosy up around the fire or sit outside on the private patio, relax and enjoy the ambience of Tulip Cottage. Beach 17 miles.
