We had an excellent time, it was a perfect location. Just a little disappointed there wasn’t a small seating area outside the front door.

Two Ways is a cosy, well equipped little cottage that is in a great location. Wells has so much to offer that for the 5 days we were there, the car stayed parked in a nearby street. We were able to walk everywhere and pop back to the house whenever we needed to. No garden did mean getting up very early to walk the dogs for their morning constitutional, however with fabulous walks and views as soon as you walked out the door this was a great pleasure. Last but not least, the WiFI was good - with a teenager in tow, this was a priority!

Ideal for a couple. Very steep stairs. Great that dogs are accepted, although the underfloor heating had to be turned off. Too warm otherwise. Close to town centre and coastal walks.

Overall we had a really great stay at the Two Ways cottage -- it's a lovely little property and in an ideal location for the main town centre. Everything we needed was in the cottage and it was clean/homely and comfortable. We had a short list of "even better if" points and have listed these below --> 1) Prior to our stay we tried to contact the caretaker re. the parking arrangements. We did not get a response from them or from them when the customer services emailed on our behalf. This was not good. Parking as it turned out was "OK", however this is something that could have been better. 2) It would have been nice to have a "welcome" manual for the cottage in-particular how to control the underfloor heating (downstairs), it was hot/stuffy and we had to open windows/doors to cool the place. Having a manual of where things are and how they work would have been helpful. Some things are very obvious but others not so much. Similarly for WiFi code and things like that. 3) For us it was no real issue, however the stairs are small and steep -- I think people should be made more aware of this. Despite these points, would we go back -- yes we would these are just things that can be improved upon.

Great cottage, very homely and cosy. Fab location with easy access to town. Would be great if parking was a bit better explained for when you arrive, also front door was quite hard to open and close as door nob loose. Fridge wasn’t turned on when we arrived which we didn’t realise, meaning we lost some dairy products we had brought. Not a massive problem but maybe if the fridge isn’t to be left on it could be mentioned before people arrive, maybe in a hand book for the cottage something that we couldn’t find. Would definitely go again again as all the issues we came across we would know what to do next time, (apart from maybe if the door nob fell off)I only mention the above to maybe help other first time guests who haven’t stayed before.

Cottage was in a good location with views of the quay from some windows. All was clean & tidy, the kitchen was well equipped and the furniture/bed was comfortable. Disappointed that there was no welcome pack: Only a few tea-bags, a little filter coffee and a few sachets of sauce at the cottage so ensure that you bring basic groceries with you. Also no fuel, matches or firefighters for the wood burner. We expected to replace any logs we used, but would have expected some to be there. The cottage info pack was quite out of date, referring to a TV channel upgrade due 2011 as a future event. Overall a good base which a just few extra touches could be improved to great.

Very enjoyable stay. I love Wells, so a little cottage there is just what you need. A bit close to the Quay side, so during high tide, it's a bit nerve wracking! Nice and warm and inviting inside. Only gripe is the double bed frame really squeaks when you roll over or shift position, so had interrupted sleep all week...?

Concerns about safety of shower rail and curtain which was insecurely fixed and fell on my husband's head. Lucky this did not happen what my 9 month old grandson was being washed.

Lovely little cottage in an excellent location. Just a couple of things that need attention. As soon as we opened the front door there was a very unpleasant smell, like stale wet cloths. It seemed to be coming from below the sink although we couldn't find the cause. It was so bad we had to buy a plug in air freshener. Also, there was only approx. 6 sheets of kitchen roll left on the dispenser, no j-cloth for washing up/wiping surfaces, although we did find one unused sponge in the sink unit. There was no bin liner in the bathroom bin and approx. 1 cm of handwash left in the bottle. Again we had to go out and buy these products which we expected to be provided. Having said that the cottage was warm, cosy and we had a very enjoyable stay. The housekeeping just needs some attention.
