Lovely cottage and fantastically well equipped. Plenty of room and the hot tub was great. Very picturesque rural area with lovely views, could be a little too rural for some but if you don’t mind driving you aren’t too far from the larger towns. Could not really fault anything about it and good value for money too! A clothes horse for damp days and a thermostatic shower mixer would be beneficial, water can be very hot if taps are used elsewhere in cottage. But all in all a fantastic cottage would definitely recommend.

Beautiful cottage, really stylishly decorated and the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need! The hot tub is always a great bonus! Marked the location down slightly as we found the local beaches quite difficult to access with 2 small children and my disabled father, that’s no fault of the cottage obviously just personal circumstances! Would highly recommend this property.

When we arrived it was beautifully presented and were left a bottle of Prosecco, welsh cakes and crisps as a welcome gift. The whole decor and furnishings have been carefully selected with themes of colours and stars etc running through - so lovely ? The bed in the downstairs is very firm if you prefer that whereas the double upstairs is softer - depends what you prefer. Didn’t use the twin room. There were three of us and it was great - I think more than 4 would be very cosy if for a week if you were inside much - but for us it was great to enjoy space. In the lounge you can just watch grass in the field waving - so peaceful and meditative I loved it. Hot tub fab - especially after a long bike ride on nearby millennium cycle path. Cared for daily and very very clean. Nearby pub the Kjngs Arms is great and well worth a visit. Highly recommend this lovely house. Just mind the step up into the toilet as I fell up It ? it may catch you out! We may well be back as it’s a lovely place with fab views of surrounding countryside

Bathroom sink was too small, very difficult to have a proper wash. Shower was a nightmare to use. No thermostat on it so changed from warm to scalding hot or cold when other taps used in cottage. Would not let a child use it alone. No wardrobes to hang clothes. Had to rest them on hooks on wall. A lovely clean cottage but struggled for a week with our party.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, no expense spared! Had a shabby chic feel, very chic!! Lots of space throughout, spotlessly clean. All 3 bedrooms were spacious and bright, hairdryer in chest of drawers. Everything was provided (milk, tea, sugar, wine, chocolate, crisps, games, DVD’s, towels (for shower and hot tub), fully equipped kitchen - right down to the pizza cutter)! well thought about. Various size cups and glasses for different occasions is always a bonus! The garden and tub were also lovely, surrounded by fields and animals. Quite secluded however it was perfect for what we wanted, peace! I cannot say enough good things about this place.

The Cottage is brilliantly situated for exploring the Gower, 3 Cliffs Bay, Llanstefan, Penbury Country Park etc, all within a 30 - 40 minute drive. It is located on a small side road in a small village but does not appear to have any shops, post office, newsagent etc within walking distance so everything is by car. The parking is at the end of the cottage and is fine for 1 car. The cottage is surrounded by lovely fields, the only problem we experienced (and you can't really complain about as you are in the country) is that the road the cottage is on seems to be the main access road for the farm tractors and trailers. The Tractor/Trailer passes very close to the cottage and does tend to rumble and be quite noisy for a few seconds. This would not normally be a problem but on the weekend we stayed there, fields were being cut and so on the Sunday evening, we had them going past the cottage from 6pm until 1am every 8 to 10 mins! I'm sure this is a rare event but it spoiled an otherwise perfect weekend as we could not sleep until it finished. The cottage itself is lovely, wonderfully decorated and all the comforts of home. The Hot Tub is excellent, very clean, very warm but appears to be for 4 people (fine for us as only 2) which is slightly strange given that the cottage sleeps 6, however, there is some nice garden furniture that can be used while you wait! Overall, it was a lovely break, only slightly spoiled by the late night traffic.

Beautiful cottage and spotlessly clean. The little treats on arrival were a lovely touch. Simon the owner was great, he came every morning to service the hot tub and gave us a few tips of where to go. The pub is in walking distance and the food is excellent. The weather was also a treat which made it a perfect week away. Will definitely be returning.

Cottage decor is beautiful and it was sparkling clean. The Hot Tub was very well maintained and super hot. Our only reason for not giving higher marks is that one downstairs toilet for 3 bedrooms seems a little low and we missed not having a fire to light to make the cottage more cosy. However, the beds and pillows were deliciously comfortable for a good night's sleep.
