There’s Lake Vyrnwy not too far away, where you can choose to canoe, kayak, sail and paddle board. The hotel also has a wonderful spa and restaurant if you feel like spoiling yourselves. There’s Powys Castle to take in, and further afield is Shrewsbury, for those who want to see even more. The historic centre is a shopper’s heaven packed with designer shops, smart new malls and an amazing range of independent retailers.
