To remote for us. Miles from the nearest town. Tynlon cottage was excellent. You need a car to take advantage of the surrounding places of interest. Very quiet tranquil holiday. Definitely recommend this cottage. Thank for your help.

I’ll start with the positive we had a lovely family break and the cottage was clean and the owners was lovely. We enjoyed the cows and the sheep and watching the red kites The negative are the directions wasn’t very clear. Do not follow the postcode you’ll end up in the wrong place. The cottage smelled of damp. The toilet smelled of urine think the combination of wooden floor and toilet seat it was ingrained. I cleaned it whilst there and made no difference. We kept the door open all the time because of the smell when shut in there. We still had a great time and it didn’t spoil our holiday but we wouldn’t return because of it x

The cottage is nice, clearly well loved by the owners and everything is there for you - no tiny detail has been overlooked - there's even a BBQ! The owners are absolutely lovely and made us and the dogs feel very welcome!! It's an old cottage and the decor reflects this, but personally I found it charming - the only downside was the double bed which was a bit uncomfortable. The cottage is in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared for a 20 min drive to the nearest amenities..... but the pub, shop & takeaway were excellent!

We stayed there in end of March 2019, Lovely little cottage no problems with the cold more than Enough heaters, Few pad points, smells a bit damp,Especially in back bedroom, and I think every window mists up so can’t see clearly though them. Apart from that was a lovely stay and would go back. Thank you for nice weekend.

Lovely spot. Had all we needed. Did find the meters a bit of a nuisance & couldnt get the storage heaters to work! But the electric free standing heaters did the job well! Very warm welcome too; all in all a very good stay!

Not dog friendly. Very cold, storage heaters +electric heaters provided but used a lot of £1 coins to keep the electrics going. Manual outside light so wasn't able to see very uneven path +steps when dark. Left the cottage after 3 nights due to the cottage being so cold.
