Home from home and bigger than it looks in the pictures. The pub is very welcoming (only takes cash if you’re interested) and within easy reach of everything.
No Wi-Fi but we rather liked that.

Very nice cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Pub next door. Beamish museum just up the road.

We really enjoyed our stayed at Urpeth Terrace. The house was comfortable, well proportioned and easy to find. Great for getting to Beamish, and meeting our friends every day. Biggest challenge was fitting the car in the parking space at the back, but as it is the end house, no-one else needs to come past the parking space, so it was fine. Will definitely book again, especially as we could take our dogs.
Everything as advertised.

Not really a holiday. Visiting family and friends in the area. Perfect for us and knowing the area well I know it would be perfect for everything in the local area. Bus stop right outside and a super proper pub next door. Perfect for the beginning, middle and end of your evening.
We stayed 3 nights and it was brilliant very well equipped and very local to Beamish Museum enjoyed meals at Beamish Mary and Sheppard and Shepardess both less than 2.5 mile away. Would definitely stay again and recommend
The cottage was beautifully clean and well appointed. The showers were brilliant with plenty of hot water. The beds could have been a bit softer as I suffer with my back but I did manage to sleep. There was a pub next door and I was quite worried that late night drinkers would be noisy but I can honestly say that I didn't hear them.
Good base, everything you need.
