Not to pleased with the cleanliness of some things in the cottage ie the double mattress was badly stained which I didn’t find until I stripped the bed before vacating. Frying pans were worn and greasy. Single mattresses were worst for wear no comfort in them. No blinds or curtains in dining room/living room or kitchen. The plus was a lovely view of the valley.

Absolutely stunning house we had a fantastic time and would definitely go back. The wood burning stove made it so cosy. The surrounding views are spectacular.

The cottage was warm, good supply of logs, plenty of hot water, effective electric shower and kitchen reasonably well equipped. No dishwasher but nice view stood at the sink. One loo roll only, no spare bin bags, no kitchen roll. Very plain inside, no pictures but view from the windows instead. Simple bed linen with no extra ‘frills’, no mattress or pillow protectors. A few cobwebs and needed a dust (but then with a wood burning stove dust is inevitable). Simple cottage and value for money for the price - small improvements in cleanliness, decor and provision of some basic staples would have increased our overall impression.

Lovely, although slightly basic, cottage, in our favourite location with amazing views. Host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The wood store was very low on arrival and a delivery was organised immediately for the next day. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, however, some cleaning basics like toilet & surface cleaner would not go a miss as well as a few more homely/locally produced touches to give it the Skye feel. The log burner was great at keeping the whole cottage warm too, and was nice to come back to given the unpredictable Skye weather. The cottage has a lot of scope, including an unused mezzanine which would be a great snug/bedroom, but then this would affect its very reasonable pricing for the area. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

Very comfortable and warm cottage especially when the weather is bad. Wood burning stove was much used after getting very wet on our walks.
