It has its own private courtyard with seating as well as a shared ‘recreational barn’ which includes a TV, pool table, gymnasium and sauna.

Stunning valleys and sweeping hillside views can be enjoyed from the idyllic location of the cottage. Cycle tracks, bridle paths and walkways abound from the doorstep with quaint little villages popping up when you least expect it.

It is just one mile from the well-known village of Goathland best known for its connections with Heartbeat, indeed Hill Farm in which Valley View sits was used for many of the film shoots. You can board the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Train here and take a memorable journey through the glorious Esk Valley as it steams its way across the valleys into the historic market town of Pickering. The ancient sea port of Whitby is just a short drive over the moors, eight miles, a colourful harbour leads to the three mile stretch of sandy beach overlooked and almost protected by the ancient abbey ruins and St Mary’s church. The brave (and fit) can take the 199 steps up to the abbey ruins where panoramic views over Whitby across to Sandsend can be enjoyed. Explore the smugglers coves of Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay and Staithes or visit the more elegant seaside resort of Scarborough, Britain’s first ever seaside resort. It would take a lifetime to explore the delights on offer in this beautiful part of the world. With country shows and fairs throughout the summer you will be spoilt for choice. Or maybe just spend the day relaxing at home making use of the full gymnasium, sauna and games room all on offer here at Valley View.Shop 1 mile, pub 600 yards and restaurant 1 mile.
Valley View can be booked together with The Dairy (UK2019) to accommodate up to 10 guests.

A nice relaxing place to stay. Very clean and the owners friendly and welcoming. There are other properties very close by which may cause some disturbance. There is a gym and nice sauna. The bed is on a Mezzanine and toilet /shower on the ground floor. It is well equipped and has comfortable furnishings.
