The town centre house was well furnished and equipped as well as central for the town, rail and bus stations. Coffee tables in lounge would be helpful and chandelier in top bathroom is very low! Large Co-op nearby was useful to have too. Parking is an issue. The road behind the house had available space at times but the car was frequently boxed in so difficult to get out. Whitby’s parking is £63 for a week and the fact that you can book a space on private driveways (£40) reflects the parking problem. We were a group with three cars so parking was interesting. Noise from nearby club was noticeable into early hours but it is a town centre house in a seaside town. It is a beautiful house and we did enjoy our stay.

What a beautiful house every thing you need stunning decor the people that own this have great taste. I have trouble sleeping and was reading the reviews about the noise as it only has single glassing but it was ok and I had a great sleep over single night.would definitely go back to this house.

Lovely place to stay. Well worth the money.

The house is immaculate and has every thing you need for the holiday, even bucket and spade for the children's visit to the beach - they have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Location was amazing, close to all the shops, pubs and transport services. I would definitely book again. However the parking to the rear of the property was an issue. The rear road is a private road and the employees of offices on the row, park their cars and blocking the road, double parking, preventing us from being able to drive our car out. We arrived after 6 pm on the arrival day and parking was fine. The next morning we were blocked in and cars were parked so close to the gate that we had issues manoeuvring a pushchair out of the gate. During the week we managed to park on the end of the street, allowing us to exit the street and as long as we returned after 5 pm we could get parked again. Once we knew the situation, we found people were friendly and helpful, happy to move their cars to allow others to get out of the street. If you plan to park up and not use the car during the holiday, then this will only be an issue on departure day. Make sure you are parked at the end of the street for departure day. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as lots of stairs. Scored 9 regarding the parking but everything else scored 10

A great property with pleanty of room and well equipped. Great location near all local amenities. Coop just round the corner and lots of interesting places to eat and drink close by. Would like to suggest the owners get a blind for the bathroom door as although the coloured glass looks good you can also see through it! A bit more info on when the bin would be emptied and how appliances work would have been useful. An enjoyable relaxing holiday.

Only issue was building work at the adjoining house which started very early in the morning (before 7). Would have been nice if we had been made aware of this when booking.

This is a really comfortable house, made really welcoming for us humans & our dog. It’s position meant we didn’t use the car all week - close to all amenities with lots of great walks from the house.
