This is an ideal location to explore this glorious coastline. Bamburgh with its majestic fortress towering over the village is a short drive with a golden sandy beach making an idyllic spot for picnics and days by the sea. Alnwick has enchanting water gardens and a famous castle as well as many pubs eateries fine shops and cobbled streets. Nearby Seahouses famous for its lovely fish and chips is a bustling harbour town unchanged for years. Take a boat trip from here to the Farne Islands to see the migrating birds or seals. No trip to Northumberland is complete without heading over to Holy Island reached by a causeway at low tide. You will find golf courses hills and valleys for strolling rambling cycling or driving.
