Nearby Seahouses, famous for its lovely fish and chips, is a bustling harbour town unchanged for years. Take a boat trip from here to the Farne Islands to see the migrating birds or seals. No trip to Northumberland is complete without heading over to Holy Island, reached by a causeway at low tide. You will find golf courses, hills and valleys for strolling, rambling, cycling or driving.
