Take the footpath by the stream which joins the High Peak and Tissington Trail then further on to a path leading to Carsington Water. The walks are endless and depending on ability you will find stunning mountains hills and valleys to explore. Some of the finest country stately homes in England are within easy reach including Chatsworth House Haddon Hall and Tissington Hall.     The cottage has a fantastic location, and is within easy reach of many of the Peak District walks and countryside. The facilities in the cottage are first class, with a hot tub out side which enjoys a lovely view over the well kept garden and grounds. The hot tub could be enjoyed all year round. The layout of the cottage makes it ideal for 2 to 3 families, where the rooms and on-suites are in distinctive areas of the cottage, which is achieved without losing the cozy feeling of the whole cottage There are two large communal areas downstairs and upstairs that work very well. We had a brilliant time at this 'little gem', and would gladly return to stay there again.
