    We had a lovely week at Wayfarer House. It’s a spacious, comfortable house in a great location. My only niggle was that the shower in the en-suite is very low pressure and really needs attention, especially when there is only a mixer tap shower in the bathroom. Also the house would benefit from more comfortable garden furniture. There is a picnic bench and one chair. Nowhere to sit comfortably in the garden to read or enjoy the sunshine. Otherwise a very good house and set back from the road so very quiet despite its central location. Very good to have an enclosed garden for our dog. I would return (especially if the shower was fixed!).

    Great Location. Plenty of parking spaces. Warm & Spacious. Lacks shower in main bathroom even though there is a hand held shower head which is not practical, the one & only shower is in the on suite in master bedroom. Could do with black out curtains s in master bedroom. Other than that Wayfarer House is cosy warm & practical for any family stay, and would reccomend.

    This is the second time I have stayed in wayfarer house, and we had a lovely week. Great location right near shops and the quay, and it suited all of our news, big open fire and lots of space.

    We have just spent a wonderful week over Christmas at Wayfarer House and cannot recommend it highly enough. The house was more than adequate size wise and perfectly equipped for 8 adults , we even cooked our Christmas meal there and wanted for nothing. It's in an ideal location being just a couple of minutes walk from the quay but set back from the road. Our dealings with the owner were straight forward and she couldn't have been more helpful. It was a perfect base for our family get together + one large dog and we would all happily return.

    We really enjoyed staying here. A lovely spacious house close to town and sea. The equipment was great apart from a temperamental oven. Beds were clean,comfortable and extra heaters appreciated. We did wash all the cutlery and some cooking items before we started.

    The cottage is very spacious and would easily cater for 6 adults and 2 children. The kitchen is very well equipped with cooking equipment and everything worked. Although the small fridge was just about adequate, a larger one would definitely be needed if there were eight staying there. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and it was nice to have an adequately sized television. There were also books, jigsaws, and games. The master, ensuite bedroom is very spacious, with plenty of drawers and hanging space. The shower really needs updating. It was simply not powerful enough. There were just four adults staying. The other bedrooms are less roomy, in fact, there is no hanging space in any of them, but all have drawers. The garden, by Well's standards, is very large and a nice space to enjoy in the late-summer sunshine. The dog certainly enjoyed the freedom to roam. We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a lovely property, just needing a little updating.

    We have stayed here many times but unfortunately the property has gone downhill. The kitchen ware requires an overhaul in that saucepans need renewing/updating; ovenware pans need renewing; the toilet in the en-suite it’s handle is nearly coming awa, the shower is now just a dibble to what it use to be; the downstairs toilet roll holder is nearly coming off the wall; the garden has not been kept properly.
