Wayside has been completely refurbished recently, with new carpets, fully fitted kitchen, new bathrooms and a superb modern lounge with open fireplace and large picture windows overlooking the wonderful gardens. All the rooms are generously proportioned. The exceptionally large kitchen/dining room is ideal for family gatherings as well as groups wishing to explore this awe inspiring area of the Highlands. With masses of mature flowering shrubs interspersed with lawned walks and specimen trees, it ’s an ideal place for visitors to meander and unwind after a day’s sporting activities.     Great location ,pleasant stay,we were a family of 7 plus a dog, Climbed Ben Nevis , so out most of time,the cottage was spacious and comfortable enough for our needs the kitchen was clean and well equipped,but could do with some new cookware etc, pans were tired, big garden but was very overgrown and not well kept like the photo. Garage needed painting,Overall would stay again.great for a Base,quite basic furnishings etc .

    When we arrived in October, cold and wet day - there was no heating on - immediate disappointment. There is only 8 mugs - 8 bowls etc - for a dishwasher that would take 24 mugs - simply not enough equipment. The mattresses need changed as not the best, however once the heating got going, the house was clean and tidy and spacious, however that picture is not the house we stayed in - the garden was nothing like that, and it had a garage on the end, which needs a bit of a spruce up.
