West Pusehill Farm is the perfect base for those who enjoy beautiful scenic walks, cycling, fun on the beach, or simply just sitting and watching the varied birds, wildlife and stunning scenery that this area has to offer. Situated on the owner’s small holding, these five pretty barn conversions, in a courtyard setting of ten cottages, are ideal for guests looking to relax and explore the wonderful coast and countryside of north Devon. These terraced properties are situated close to the South West Coastal Path, Northam Burrows Country Park and the Tarka Trail.
Guests can enjoy a swim in the outdoor heated swimming pool, which is set in a sheltered lawned area and faces south - ideal for sunbathers. There is also a large shared barbecue facility, for an alfresco supper, on-site laundry room and a children’s play area. Take a well-earned break at the end of the day and enjoy the friendly family inn, where you can unwind with a good meal and a pint of the award-winning, locally brewed ale. West Pusehill Farm not only gives you the freedom and independence of a self-catering holiday, but the local area can offer you a wide range of excellent restaurants and cafés, so your holiday can be enjoyed by every member of the family.
The award-winning beach at Westward Ho! has miles of golden sand and the fun filled family attractions is a must, and for a great day out the Big Sheep and the Milky Way are not to be missed. A little further afield, but still within easy driving distance, is the wonderful Exmoor National Park, with its unique village of Clovelly, RHS Rosemoor and a host of charming fishing villages. West Pusehill Farm is the perfect choice, as there is so much to do on-site. This retired working farm still keeps tame animals including sheep, goats, chickens, geese and of course Hector and Hugo, the two Kunekune pigs - spend an afternoon visiting and feeding the animals, by arrangement with the owner. Surrounding the complex are 15 acres of farmland, where you can walk the dog, fly a kite or just simply admire the stunning countryside and coastline. You can even take the public footpath across the fields leading to Cornborough Cliffs. Kipling Tors at the top of Pusehill has a footpath leading to Westward Ho! village and beach, only 1 mile away. Beach 1 mile. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
Beech (UKC1182), Ash (UKC1183), Oak (UKC1184), Willow (UKC1185) and Yew (UKC1186) can be booked together to accommodate up to 18 guests.
