Marazion is a small market town, flanked by a long sandy beach with breathtaking views of Mounts Bay and St Michael’s Mount. At low tide you can walk across the causeway to explore this magical place, visit the gardens, the castle and then stop at the café and look around the shops, there is also a boat which ferries people back and forth from the Mount. The beach is popular with families as well as being a great place for water sports with plenty of parking and amenities, there is also a large play area for children.
For bird watchers Marazion Marshes is the place to go, and for younger ones Paradise Park, 4¾ miles away, is always a fun day out for everyone. This is a great place to explore the rest of the Cornish coast, whether you want a tranquil few day or are looking for your next adventure. Beach 1 mile.
