A lovely escape for a few days. Well appointed cottage, very clean and ideal for a group of nine from two families. The railway walks and Pennine Way are just on the doorstep. Dog friendly and definitely a cottage we would come back to.

Fab weekend! Would definitely recommend and go again! The house is quite far away from everything. Alston is a small town about 5 minutes away but doesn’t really have much going on. The house is really clean and absolutely gorgeous, it’s really well taken care of. The only thing I would say it that it’s really hard to find, we all drove past it a few times before we managed to find it but that’s the only thing! Thank you so much for letting us stay. Hope to be back soon :)

Had a fabulous time at Whitlow Farm. Four generations (aged 2 to 84) had a great weekend celebrating a 60th. Birthday, followed by a relaxing week with total peace and quiet.

We had the most amazing time at Whitlow farmhouse! We have just spent a week there the house was so clean, fresh bedding and towels and very well equipped. We baked whilst there and had a bbq and put the paddling pool up too, the owners could not have done enough for us. Always checking to make sure we had everything we need. When we arrive the freezer was filled with ice which was brilliant. We can’t thank them enough for our stay and would definitely return
