It is ideally placed for exploring the glorious South Downs National Park including the South Downs Way footpath which runs for 100 miles from Winchester to Eastbourne.\nThe seaside town of Worthing is 2½ miles away where you can stroll along the pier taking in the lovely views and perhaps stopping off for coffee or tea in the café.\nCatch a train to Brighton and explore the jumble of alleyways famously called The Lanes in the historic quarter which are now home to a full range of independent antique and boutique shops.     Booked the cottage last minute. Debbie was very welcoming. Cottage was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Lovely view out rear of the windmill and nice having a fenced of garden for the dog. The road outside is very poor as loads of pot holes and very rough surface glad I had a 4x4 car. My only minor point was there was no mention of the £200 security deposit. I didn’t mind paying but would of liked to know before. This was very promptly returned after we left. Debbie was a lovely host and would return if in the area again.
