Winser House is located in a great place to stay all year round, with its pretty garden, patio space for al fresco dining and cosy living room.
Our cottage dates back to the 1800s and boasts plenty of character and original features, with exposed beams in most rooms, along with a double-sided fireplace in the cosy living/dining room for those cooler evenings. The well equipped kitchen looks out over the garden and patio area. There’s also a utility room with washing machine and additional cupboard space, along with the downstairs toilet. Upstairs offers three good-sized bedrooms, and the master bathroom has a feature roll-top bath. A perfect room to relax and unwind in after a walk through the Kent countryside.
This delightful cottage is set in the quiet rural hamlet of Rolvenden Layne. The market town of Tenterden is only 3½ miles away, which offers a range of shops, small cafés, restaurants and bars. If you like walking, there is a public footpath that runs from Rolvenden Layne to Tenterden through fields, down to the river and over the railway line, approx 5½ miles.
Other attractions include Kent and East Sussex Railway, Bodium Castle, Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens and Rare Breeds Centre, Headcorn Aerodrome, Rye, Bedgebury National Pinetum, Bewl Water and Designer Outlet Ashford all within 17 miles. Beach 13½ miles.
