Please note: There are covered water butts in the garden. This detached cottage sits in a quiet residential area of the popular market town of Fakenham, with its many amenities. The town centre is just a 15-minute walk and boasts a golf course, bowling alley, cinema, racecourse, a bustling weekly market and lots of great places to eat, drink and shop. Venture just a little further and you will find the gateway to a breath-taking coastline. Wells-next-the-Sea is a must visit with its picturesque quay, mini gauge railway and quaint mix of artisan and traditional seaside shops and cafés. Travel east and you will find Blakeney, where you can enjoy the local pursuit of crab lining, or a boat trip to see the seals and the popular seaside towns of Sheringham, with its shingle beach and Cromer with its famous Edwardian seafront and pier. Hunstanton, nicknamed “Sunny Hunny” by the locals, has a small funfair, Sealife Centre and traditional seaside amusements. The Thursford Collection and the Walsingham Shrine also lie within easy reach as do many great bird watching environments, walks and cycle routes, many of which are coastal. For keen fisherman, South Creake fishing lakes are within easy reach. After a long day of making great memories, you can head back to Woodbines and relax in the beautiful, large enclosed garden – maybe with a glass of wine. Beach 9 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

We had a lovely week here. Wine, cake & treats for the dogs waiting for us which was very nice. Very clean property. The only problem for us was the floor in the lounge & hall was quite slippery, my Mother isn't to steady on her feet so was nervous walking in there.

Woodbines is in a lovely area, and the cottage was perfect for the two of us, with Poppy the boxer dog. The garden was absolutely beautiful, and the fencing secure. The large kitchen with its integral dining area was excellent. The only thing that might be an issue with larger groups of visitors was that the bathroom/shower room was very small, and similarly the adjoining toilet was also small, and is the only toilet in the cottage. Would we come again ? - absolutely yes we would!

Ideally located for a large variety of attractions,quiet and peaceful,beautiful garden.The only problem was we ran out of time to see everything so another visit is on the cards

Excellent property with a wonderful big garden. Eric (the dog) loved it.
Clean, tidy and very well equipped.
The only downside (but not a problem) was the bed settee in the lounge. Not the most comfortable settee in the world when watching TV.

Very well decorated and equipped property. Good selection of dvds, games and books as well as kitchen and electrical equipment. Great garden and rooms. Property is one of the best I have stayed in
