Woodland Lodges Ben Macdui (UK7761) and Clachnaben (UK7760) are situated in a peaceful, rural setting, close to the town of Banchory with plenty to do nearby. This perfect location offers guests a wonderful opportunity to explore much of Scotland.

Each lodge is large and comfortable with open plan living and kitchen areas. Each has a family bathroom and three bedrooms; one double with an en-suite shower room, a twin room and a full-size bunk room with patio doors leading out to a covered decking area, you can relax from the moment you arrive. Sit back and enjoy your morning coffee or wile away the evening with a nice glass of wine, whatever the weather.

A year-round destination, every season has so much to offer at Deeside, so it’s a great place to visit at any time. On the outskirts of the town are The Falls of Feugh, a stunning part of the River Dee where salmon can be seen leaping up the apparently unscalable rocks, amidst an often-raging torrent, compelled by instinct to return to their spawning grounds further up the river. There is also a very good restaurant here serving lunch and dinner, with other tearooms, hotels and pubs in Banchory itself. An area of glorious scenery, castles and gardens, there is an abundance of activities from cycling to fishing; culture to championship golf course. Everything is here that you need for a perfect holiday or spending time with friends and family. The owners are happy to advise on walks, activities and days out to make the most of your time here.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 12 guests.
