A lovely cottage with extremely helpful and kind owners next door. Do stay here!
Lovely situation for exploring and walking. Owners on hand for any queries. Good to have the wood burner for extra warmth
An excellent place to stay with dogs; welcome pack, plenty of room for the dogs to exercise, friendly hosts, good situation for touring. Well worth a visit.
This was our second visit. We caught the weather just right and we stayed for three days. PLenty of places to visit and lots of places to eat in Church Stretton. Our dog loved it as there was plenty of room on site. Anything you needed for the cottage could be supplied by Lesley and Steve, who live close by.
Clean comfortable well equipped cottage in a rural location. Owners welcoming, friendly and informative about the local area.
Lovely cottage in beautiful area of Shropshire. Dog walks from the door. Friendly hosts who kindly left a welcome pack which was much appreciated.
Very comfortable bed. Laundry facilities.
A lovely, comfortable and well equipped, this cottage is a real peaceful haven. It has everything you need as a home from home. Lesley and Steve are very warm and welcoming hosts and the grounds are beautiful and idyllic. We had such a relaxing stay and the nearby town of Church Stretton that has everything you need, is only a short drive away with stunning views of the Shropshire hills. We will definitely be booking this cottage again.
Lovely cottage. Great hosts welcomed with wine and fresh eggs and bread. Wood available for fire.
We picked this cottage initially because of its location in Shropshire and because we could take our dog. It was early October and we hit the weather perfectly. Lesley and Steve prestocked the fridge with a few necessities and we lit the wood burning stove ready for settling in later. But first we took a trip into nearby Church Stretton for an evening meal (fish and chips!). Shropshire is a beautiful county with some amazing sights and views which shouldn't be missed. There are also plenty of places to eat and drink plus good shopping. We take most of our holidays in UK and visit a different county every year, but I'm sure we will be back here before long.
Comfortable and warm with lots of character, and thoughtfully fitted out with everything you need, including a wonderful welcome pack of goodies from the helpful friendly owners. Near to the lovely little market town of Church Stretton with its individual shops including Mr Bun the Baker - great coffee, cakes and bread. The whole area is fantastic for walking, even from the cottage. If walking isn’t your thing, there is lots of interest within easy reach, Ironbridge, Blists Hill Victorian Village, Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Much Wenlock etc. Would thoroughly recommend.
Great welcome from owners and extremely accommodating. We enjoyed our stay
But wish it had been two weeks.
