Welcome to Woodside 14, a static property on the Shear Barn holiday and touring site in Hastings. This is a fantastic destination for couples and families who want to relax and chill and explore the area. Sleeping five in three bedrooms, the accommodation provides everything that you need for a home-from-home experience.
The site has an indoor swimming pool which is life-guarded, opening times may vary check on site, booking is advisable, and there is no charge to use the pool! Why not bring or hire bikes to explore the walks and attractions? There are lots of things to see in Hastings just walking along the seafront and Old Town a short walk away. As you would expect, there are plenty of beaches to choose from, the nearest one being Hastings Beach. Although pebbled, it has a promenade, so you can enjoy the beautiful views with lots of wildlife in between browsing the shops. Port Hastings and Rock-a-Nore beaches are also close by. One of the best beaches in the area is The Stade, where you will see fishing boats, fish stalls, and shops. If the weather is not a beach day why not enjoy an underwater safari at the Blue Reef Aquarium, have a fun day out at Hastings Amusement Park, or why not go back in time to uncover the caverns and tunnels used by smugglers in long-ago times? On the seafront, you can enjoy a snack at one of the cafés or ice cream, ideal after tackling the Adventure golf course.
Just over 19 miles away is Knockhatch Adventure Park, a great choice for families with plenty of activities to keep them entertained including a petting zoo and indoor and outdoor play areas. For those that like history, a trip to Battle Abbey (just under 8 miles away) is a must, as is Herstmonceux Castle.
After a long day out, if you don’t fancy cooking, you can enjoy the selection of food offered by the Barley Lane Bistro on-site; you can also book for your Sunday roast! Whatever you want to do there is so much for everyone, so why not take time out to chill on the decking watching the beautiful skies at night, and just recharge the batteries?
