Brief but excellent stay in this lovely property. Very impressed with Covid-19 safety measures in place.

Characterful accommodation which is very well equipped. We were given a friendly welcome, and very much appreciated the welcome hamper of foodstuffs. The underfloor heating kept us warm downstairs, and when the temperature dipped we lit the log fire as well! We did, however, have trouble coaxing any warmth from the upstairs radiator and heated towel rail, but this did not spoil our overall enjoyment of the property. A peaceful location, but with shops and supermarkets nearby. The nearest pub/restaurant is a five minute drive away, although we didn't try it. Overall, would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

A lovely, cosy cottage. Tastefully furnished & comfortable. Kitchen equipped to cope for every need including herbs etc.. Beautiful hamper provided on our arrival which was completely unexpected. Lovely welcome from Challon, the charming owner. Will definitely return.

A super place to stay over bank holiday weekend allowing us to visit nearby National Trust places with our young family. Challon was welcoming but not intrusive, showing us around her cosy, characterful property when we arrived. We appreciated the kind welcome pack of groceries and had every we could ever want in the cottage. As a result we had a calm, peaceful and enjoyable stay. We would heartily recommend to others and look forward to staying again in the future.
