Y Beudy really does offer the perfect location to discover this stunning unspoilt part of Pembrokeshire. Nestled on a wooded valley and on the edge of the truly beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and Preseli Mountains, Y Beudy is set on a 40-acre family farm complete with peafowl, goats, geese and chickens. Accessed via a rough, ½ mile track, the detached cottage is located adjacent to the owner’s farmhouse, just 2 mile from the hamlet of Crymych which offers a local pub where you can enjoy some home cooking and local ales, along with a variety of shops.
The cottage offers a spacious open plan living space with superb slate flooring running through the kitchen and living room. Enjoy cooking that special meal in the large kitchen complete with a farmhouse table ideal for all the family and friends to get together. The cottage boasts two living rooms, so your children can relax on the first floor whilst you have your feet up downstairs with a glass of wine. Y Beudy has been lovingly furnished throughout and each spacious first floor bedroom offers the bonus of en-suite facilities. On an evening you can enjoy dining al fresco on your patio with picture postcard valley views.
There is much to explore in the surrounding area. Cardigan Bay and the dramatic north Pembrokeshire coastline, which includes some truly beautiful beaches such as Poppit Sands, Newport Sands and Mwnt, are within a 20-minute drive. A visit to Cenarth Falls really is not to be missed and if timed well you can see the fantastic sight of salmon leaping up the falls. Enjoy a short trip to the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran, which runs along the banks of the River Teifi, made famous for coracle fishing. A great day out for all is the walled town of Tenby complete with a beach, cobbled streets and a host of eateries and craft shops. Beach 9 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
