Here you can relax and soothe those muscles and enjoy the wonderful views whilst you plan your activities for the following day.If you can bear to tear yourself away from this wonderful holiday home, you’ll find some lovely country walks and trails right on the doorstep. Ruthin is just 4 miles away, home to the contemporary Ruthin Craft Centre, and the formerly fearsome Ruthin Gaol, where visitors are now warmly welcomed! You’ll also find a great selection of eateries and individual shops in the streets radiating down the hill from St Peter’s Square in the centre of town. A little further afield is Llandegla Forest with its mountain bike centre and more great walks, whilst the historic city of Chester with its famous city walls, cathedral and unique shops in the Rows is well worth a visit. In the other direction, Betws-y-Coed, the ’Gateway to the Snowdonia National Park’, offers more outdoor clothing shops than you can shake a stick at, and the amazing Zip World Fforest where you can get your adrenaline rush on the Fforest Coaster or experience the Powerfan Plummet! Shop and pub 1½ miles, restaurant 4 miles.
