Nestling on a hillside overlooking the sparkling waters of Luce Bay, Whitecairn Holiday Park boasts panoramic views over the Mull of Galloway to the Isle of Man and beyond. On the edge of pretty Glenluce village and close to sandy beaches you’re ideally located for exploring this picturesque Scottish area.

Whitecairn Holiday Park is the perfect location for a relaxing and peaceful break in this idyllic corner of Scotland. Ideal for families and couples alike, it offers all the peace and quiet you could wish for in a short break or longer stay to get away from the stresses and strains of everyday life and simply relax and unwind.

The charming village of Glenluce is nearby, surrounded by lush farmland and the unique Dumfries and Galloway coastline. Further afield is the fishing village of Portpatrick. A tourist hotspot, Portpartick has a host of local pubs and eateries to treat yourself to Scotland’s famed hospitality. To the north, Loch Ryan is a sea loch, with a rich naval and military history. Loch Ryan is now a ferry port to Northern Ireland. With its calm waters and being surrounded by the Rhins of Galloway Peninsula it makes for an invigorating walk or leisurely drive in this historically significant area.

With a mix of traditional caravans and luxury lodges (some with hot tubs) you’ll be sure to find the holiday or short break you’re looking for to unwind and relax at Whitecairn Holiday Park.

Leanne Carnwath, South Lanarkshire | Other The holiday park is beautiful and just on the outskirts of Glenluce which has a small shop and local pub. We stayed in a Parkview Lodge for the week and it was well appointed and beautifully decorated inside. The hot tub is situated at the side of the lodge with a small fence providing privacy and full lighting to ensure your safety in additional to 2 gates to help keep your pats safe. The hot tub was cleaned and maintained every day and emptied on the last morning which is always reassuring to see. You are not permitted to use the hot tub between 11pm and 7am and that seemed to be stuck to whilst there, there was no wild parties instead a very quiet and peaceful holiday site. Whilst the lodge had plenty of toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and bin bags, I like to cook and found there was missing kitchen utensils which would have been useful to have. This didn't affect the holiday nor our enjoyment of the lodge but just made things a tiny bit harder to make meals.
