Anne Derbyshire | Other This could be a lovely place ! We enjoyed it as we wanted peace and quiet , and thats what you get ! but Lodges are tired. Issue with hot tub , No one came to hot tub , on our second day the Tuesday , so on Wednesday at 4pm we went and asked if they would put some chlorine in as it smelt ! ( we have a hot tub at home so know it didn’t smell right ) told they had been very busy …….yet all staff were sat on sofa in reception! there were only 4 lodges occupied and when she came to do it she said she had forgot ! It wasn’t checked or strip paper dip tested, just chlorine chucked in from a bucket ! Some lovely dog walking in area.

David Scott Macclesfield | Other Down a very steep hill from main road and the drive up to our lodge was also steep so might be a problem to get in and out in icy or snowy weather. No facilities on site other than the small swimming pool but Llangollen is only a 5 minute drive away. Overall it is good value for money.

Debbie Wrexham | Other This is our 6th time here and it most certainly has gone downhill….the cottage we stayed in had many things which needed repairing, radiator in hall not working, radiator in downstairs bedroom hanging off wall, out side chairs broken, 2 dining chairs broken and one actually missing as this is an 8 person cottage but only 7 chairs, the 3 toilet seats not fitted properly, hot tub not being serviced daily, window upstairs bathroom won’t close, clothes airer broken, placemats missing, information booklet on how to use TV missing, no complimentary toiletries, the cottage needs a good clean and decorating. We didn’t use the swimming pool this time as last time we found it dirty …..we are coming back in feb only because this was already booked and can’t be cancelled…we left this list with the girl at reception and hope it is all rectified by feb.
